01 — Still Here, Still Rising
Look at you Still here Still choosing not to quit No one really cares the way you thought they would They cheer for comfort, not for something good They smile at dreams they’ll never understand Then pull you back the moment that you stand They see the world through limits they defend Call it truth, but it just makes them bend And every time you try to reach beyond They say you're wrong… just ‘cause they don’t belong But you know There’s a fire they don’t see And it burns differently So I’ll keep going, even if I’m alone Talking to the mirror like it’s all I own They don’t see it now, but I know I’m right I’ve been building this in the dark every night Let them doubt me, let them turn away I was never meant to think their way One day they’ll see how far I’ve come But I didn’t wait for anyone Some will laugh and say you’ve gone too far Some will love you only as you are Some will stay but try to keep you small Afraid you’ll rise and leave them where they fall They’ll call it pride, they’ll call it change But growth to them just feels too strange They only know what they’ve survived Not what it means to feel alive But you know… There’s a path they’ll never walk You can hear it when they talk So I’ll keep going, even if I’m alone Talking to the mirror like it’s all I own They don’t see it now, but I know I’m right I’ve been building this in the dark every night Let them doubt me, let them turn away I was never meant to think their way One day they’ll see how far I’ve come But I didn’t wait for anyone And when I make it Some will cheer like they believed Some will judge what they can’t be Some will stay Some will fade Some will wish I never changed But by then I’ll be gone From the place I don’t belong So I’ll keep going, even if I’m alone Now I know this voice is all I need to own They don’t see it now, but I know I’m right I’ve been building this with all my life Let them doubt me, let them turn away I outgrew what they tried to make me stay One day they’ll see how far I’ve gone But I became this on my own Look at you Still here Now rising
02 — Rooms That Don’t Feel Mine Anymore
I still know these streets I still know these names So why does everything feel farther away Same coffee cups on the kitchen table Same tired news on the TV glow Same conversations circling nowhere Like everyone already chose Friends still laughing at the same lines Still killing time the same old way And I sit there trying to smile While something inside me fades It’s not that I love them less It’s just harder now to pretend Some rooms don’t feel like mine anymore Same old voices, same old floor I still love the people there But I can’t breathe the same air Something changed inside my mind Now I leave parts of me behind Not because I think I’m more Some rooms don’t feel like mine anymore I hear my old dreams in their sentences The ones I buried years ago Fear disguised as common wisdom Comfort dressed in careful tones And maybe they look at me differently Like I disappeared somehow But I’m still the same at the center Just harder to stop now And sometimes I hate this feeling Like growth and grief are intertwined Some rooms don’t feel like mine anymore Same old shadows by the door I still care about them all But I don’t fit inside these walls Something changed inside my soul Places once warm now feel cold Not because I think I’m more Some rooms don’t feel like mine anymore Maybe this is what happens When you finally start listening To the quieter voice inside you The one that whispers There’s more than this Even when nobody understands it Some rooms don’t feel like mine anymore And I can’t be who I was before I still carry love with me But love alone won’t make me stay Something changed and now I know Some doors close as others grow Not because I think I’m more I just can’t live that way anymore I still know these streets I still know these names But I’m not the same
03 — It's Ok
Sometimes I think we're harder on ourselves Than we would ever be With anyone else It's okay if you're tired Not the kind of tired That sleep can fix The kind that comes From carrying things Long after they became too heavy It's okay if you're quiet You don't always have to explain What's happening inside you Some things need silence Before they find words Nobody expects the rain To apologize for falling Nobody asks the winter Why the trees look empty It's okay if you cried Even if it was over something small Sometimes a single drop Is carrying an entire ocean behind it It's okay if you lost your footing The ground moves sometimes More than we like to admit Maybe strength Was never about holding everything Maybe strength is knowing What can no longer be carried It's okay if your faith feels different It's okay if your plans changed It's okay if you needed more time It's okay if you're still figuring things out Most of us are We're just better At hiding it It's okay if today wasn't productive The trees are still growing On the days nobody notices It's okay if you're healing slowly Some wounds don't close They simply stop hurting As much as they used to You don't have to win today You don't have to prove anything today You don't have to become The best version of yourself Before the sun goes down Maybe today Is only for breathing And maybe That's enough It's okay Not to be okay Every now and then It's okay
04 — The Quiet Things We Become
Most of us Will never notice The moment we begin to change We think we're shaped By the days that break us The celebrations The failures The promises we make But those days are only milestones The road is built somewhere else We become The quiet things We keep Holding the door When no one is looking Listening Long enough For someone to finish Choosing silence Over the last word Walking away Without needing to win We become The quiet things We hold Forgiveness Rarely arrives Like lightning It sounds more like "I understand" Or maybe "I've carried this long enough" No one applauds The mornings We decide To begin again No one sees The courage Hidden inside Ordinary kindness No headlines No trophies Just another small decision Becoming part of us We become The quiet things We build Perhaps a life Isn't measured By the moments Everyone remembers Perhaps it's measured By the thousand gentle choices Nobody ever sees One patient answer One honest apology One hand held One fear admitted One more chance given One more day lived with compassion Little by little We become The quiet things We choose Maybe that's how A good life Is quietly made
05 — Home
For so long I thought I was Almost there Every road became another question Every answer opened something new Every dream I finally put my hands on Moved a little farther into view I kept chasing distant constellations Thinking they were waiting just for me Never seeing all the small reflections Growing quietly beneath my feet Maybe all this time I was looking through Someone else's eyes Home was never waiting Somewhere down the line Home was slowly growing One small day at a time Every step I wandered Every loss I knew Led me back to someone I was learning to Every goodbye left another lesson Every silence taught me how to hear Every wound became another window Letting in a little more of me Not because the world became much kinder Not because the road was finally smooth Something softly shifted in the distance Then I realized The distance wasn't you Maybe peace begins When we stop asking Where we should have been Home was never waiting Past another door Home was finding pieces I had missed before Every hope I carried Every truth I feared Brought me back to someone Who was always here If you're still searching Keep walking If you're still wondering Keep listening One morning Without even noticing You'll stop asking "Where do I belong" Because the question Will quietly disappear Home was never waiting At the end somehow Home was growing softly Every here and now Every scar Every dream Every mountain Every stream All of them were leading Back into my soul I was never lost I was coming home The road goes on So do I But now Every step Feels like home
