Surge of Sound is an independent musical project created by Brazilian songwriter and composer Xande Pereira.

Each song begins away from the machinery of production—with an idea, a lyric, a melody, a chord, or an emotion that has not yet found its form.

Xande writes and shapes the songs: their words, harmony, structure, direction, and reason for existing. The project remains small by choice, leaving enough room for doubt, patience, and honest decisions.

Technology becomes part of the work only after the song knows what it wants to be.
